This image was originally a sepia-toned portrait, meaning it had no colors other than brown tones.  

It was hand printed on the finest archival fiber-based paper 

then hand-painted with oils.  

Finally, it was reprinted in it's fine art form as a Giclee print on watercolor paper with the addition of a Polaroid border.  

For your portraits, many conversion options are available if you choose or you can enjoy your final images produced on a variety of substrates with many finishing selections...and "regular pictures" never become obsolete.
